San Shang Qiao Fu is probably a place many of us have grown up eating at. While it may not be the most gourmet option, it carries a nostalgic flavor.
This time, San Shang Qiao Fu has introduced a new Curry Fish Ball Beef Noodle, which is quite fragrant.
Unfortunately, apart from a few items like the Original Beef Noodle that use beef chunks, most dishes use thinly sliced beef. Still, the flavor is pretty good.

This time, San Shang Qiao Fu has teamed up with Like a Dragon 8 for a collaboration event, featuring five special menu items.
They’ve also introduced two new flavors: Curry Fish Ball Beef Noodle and Curry Fish Ball Pork Rib Noodle.

Curry Fish Ball Beef Noodle Set (咖哩魚蛋牛肉麵套餐) ＄189

Now, all sets come with a side dish and a drink, and you can swap the side dish.
For drinks, besides carbonated options, there are also hot beverages, or you can add $10 to exchange for another side dish.

The curry broth is quite good—fragrant, slightly rich, and with a mild spiciness.
It’s unexpectedly delicious.

As for the fish balls, they’re the golden fish balls commonly found in hot pot. Nothing too special here.
They probably aren’t cooked with the curry, so the flavors are somewhat separate.
However, since I personally love golden fish balls, I still enjoyed them.

I didn’t opt for thin noodles and stuck with the regular white noodles.
They pair well with the dish.

Occasionally, you might encounter noodles that aren’t fully separated, but thankfully, they’re still cooked through.

For the side dish, I chose blanched vegetables, likely tatsoi, paired with San Shang Qiao Fu’s signature braised meat sauce. It’s light and not too oily.

After the meal, a cup of "immortal water" (a playful term for their drink) can make you feel as happy as an immortal.
